This has been an area where Paul and I have differed for years. I've
had many people tell me that they won't even consider Dabo until it was 1.0,
because a 0.x version meant that we could still change anything and break all
their work. Since we were not planning on doing that, and had no plans for
major pieces being added to the framework (i.e., not the tools), I thought we
should have released 1.0 about 3 years ago. This is why I'm confused as to why
it's being suggested now.
