        Except that it is an implementation of the VFP SEEK command, and what 
you're asking for is more like the INDEXSEEK() method: http://j.mp/90xAzh

        Since we're not using indexes, that name kinda sucks. But LOCATE() also 
works like this, and combined with FOUND(), pretty much does what you're 
describing. So what do you say to dBizobj.locate(val, fld=None, 
movePointer=True), which returns a boolean if the value is found?
