That's what I thought. I believe I was looking into the postgres query status issue about a year ago and realized the framework was not helping. I do think I had attempted to minimize the problem with a couple of changes to dbPostgres.py some time ago. That said, I also do not believe it will NOT harm anything for the average developer. BTW Django seems to have the same problem with query status open transactions.
