That sure looks like a wx problem. You might want to ask on the wx
list. I just tried it on my Debian system, and got:
Python 2.5.2 (r252:60911, Jan 24 2010, 17:44:40)

Maybe it got fixed between 2.8.10 and 2.8.11?
