        I'm not sure I follow the thinking here, but it sure feels like a 
solution to the wrong problem. IOW, if you have a relation like that, you are 
taking on the responsibility for handling the behavior of how to link to the 
child records. That's certainly not a common situation, and as such, should 
probably not be in the framework.
