Hi. I'm bound to say that working with text database fields, especially if their properties changes across database version, isn't enough comfortable to me. The way backends treats text exceeding field size differs, one silently discard excess other raises exceptions. I have an idea, what if we use DataStructure scale field to pass information about text field display size? Then we could implement that information in our data controls easily.
