Just a little update.
O.K. I created a "phoenix-2ndtry" branch and pushed it mainly as a
backup (have not tried to run anything and I doubt that anything will
work at this point).
What I did so far:
- started with the commit before I had run 2to3
- run 2to3 fixers but one by one, this should be easier to review and to
revert if ever it is needed
I have not run the following fixers as I know that they are not Py2/Py3
compatible, I plan to handle them using 'six'
- basestring, unicode, urllib2, types, imports
I also did not run 'num_literals' and 'octal' as they change e.g. "05"
to "0o5", I don't think that is desired, no?
Over the next couple of weeks I will have little or no time to work on
this as I am moving.
