Note that Robin just the other day switched to generate binary wheels.
Installation is now pretty easy.
- install pip (unless you are on Py3.4)
- pip3.3 install --pre --upgrade -f
http://wxpython.org/Phoenix/snapshot-builds/ wxpython_phoenix
"--pre" is needed as these are still dev builds
"--upgrade" can be used on first install but only makes sense after that
Above installed the appropriate version for me on Windows 8.1, i.e.
Py3.3 - 32 bit into the folder site-packages/wx
