Hi,

I had a very very quick test with dPanel.py from Dabo2 with Phoenix 3.0.3 on Python 3.4.

I had to make small changes to due to syntax errors on Python 3 (exceptions and print), after that it worked.

So, whatever Neil and John have done with regards to relative/absolute imports works, which was the reason why I did the renames of the modules in the first place.

If this can be verified then I don't think there is a need to go to another 'ui' module, as it should be possible to stay compatible with 2.8.12+ classic and 3.x Classic and Phoenix on Py2.7 and Py3.4.

This compatibility would probably only last so long, but it would make transitions of Dabo based applications a lot easier.

The work on the Dabo framework code would be a more complex, at least in the short run.

Werner
