Thanks for the reply. I believe I understand. I wonder if it is the
dynamic stuff?? I was able to get the circle to appear but can't change
the color.
That said, I will continue to get things working.

The dLed class uses a DrawObject that redraws itself based with a different
color whether it is On or not. DrawObjects are one of the things that don’t
seem to work yet with Phoenix, and they will take a while to investigate, so I
don’t expect to get to them any time soon.
