Etc. Been doing this since I got the laptop: RedHat 9 -> FC2 -> FC3 ->

How are the Ubuntu's performing for you visa-vis dabo?
Really, really sweet. It isn't as if I'm on a top-of-the-line laptop
here, but Dabo on this Ubuntu box is faster than on my Windows and Mac
boxes (also not the fastest machines, and the Windows box is on a VMWare
virtual machine, so the comparison isn't really fair).
I think overall, Debian has package management done correctly, and
Ubuntu is a great distro designed for actually using your computer to do
stuff.
