Perhaps next time the camera's focus and exposure/aperture may be set to manual.
I noticed while running the camera that it kept cycling in and out,
never finding the right setting. I looked at the controls on the outside
of the camera but didn't find anything obvious and I didn't want to futz
with it and risk not recording anything.
Also, the tripod didn't allow smooth tilting or panning. But at least we
had a tripod at all!
