Rick,
I think you may be referring to my message. What you describe is
basically what I had to do also. Never the less, all is working now for me.
Thanks for the reply.

Hello again,
(I get dabo mail in a digest, and with the extra
delay, messages can cross in the mail. I have not
received a reply yet, but that may be because of the
digest delay.)
Now I recall there was an error: dabo was not able to
download setuptools from the python.org site. After
some investigation, I discovered that the python web
site had been reorganized; setuptools for python 2.4
is now here:
http://cheeseshop.python.org/packages/2.4/s/setuptools/
I downloaded a new ez_setup.py from the python site,
and overwrote the ez_setup.py that came with the dabo
files.
After that, installation seemed to go without error.
Does that information help?
Thanks,
Rick

Hello dabo,
I installed dabo from the dabo-0.6.5-mac-nix.tar.gz
I
got off dabodev.com onto a laptop running Fedora 4.
I
had already installed wxPython for Fedora 4 from the
rpm that I got off the wxPython site. I did not get
any error messages when I installed dabo. When I
type
"python AppWizard.py" in a terminal shell, python
says
can't open file "AppWizard.py" [Errorno 2] No such
file or directory
After updating the file database with updatedb,
locate
finds no AppWizard.py file.
I can however start python and import dabo.
I would be greatfull if someone would suggest one or
more troubleshooting steps.
Thanks,
Rick Graves
