On and off I've been reading the mailing list and playing around with Dabo but have not managed to figure out the basis. In the past few days I've been trying to get a grip of dabo, but without success!
I've followed common advice and use the AppWizard to generate an app. I've base this app on the webtest SQLite, so that it's easy to discuss it. I've used the customer and the orders tables. My primary goal is to express this relation on the GUI. I think I understand the concept of bizobj. But haven't managed to figure out where am I supposed to code the bizobjects relations. My assumptions have been: - bizobjs are instantiated at the form level and used there - tried to relate the bizobject instances (for customer and orders) without success. I've tried this in FrmCustomer.py but it's obviously the wrong place. I've looked at other file/samples, namely the OneToManyApp sample. But I have been able to get some light from this :-( Perhaps I'm not skilled enough but on a general basis I understand the code I read (specially Python :-) and have developed some datacrunshing apps.
