        Yeah, I figured that's what you were doing after a while. I'm re- 
thinking the whole implementation of Continuous, as it is problematic  
across platforms. I was hoping to tie it to the scroll events if the  
mouse is not down, but apparently wx.Slider does not receive mouse up  
events on OS X if the mouse is over the thumb control. I tested this  
with raw wxPython code, and it works great on Windows but not at all  
on the Mac. I was just about to ask about it on the wxPython list.

        In the meantime, I'm changing the default for dSlider.Continuous to  
True. Last change before the release! (I hope!)
