I've used Ubuntu, Fedora, and Red Hat as my main operating system, and have clients set up with Ubuntu and Fedora. More things in Ubuntu "just work", but then again my Fedora and Red Hat experience goes back 5 years, so perhaps that is the case with those as well. All I can say is that I love Ubuntu, and have no reason to look for another distro. I'd say that 95% of the apps I run I was able to install using apt-get (easy installer and dependency checker). It is also really easy to upgrade when a new version comes out (no need to install from a ISO again). -- pkm ~ http://paulmcnett.com _______________________________________________ Post Messages to: [email protected] Subscription Maintenance: http://leafe.com/mailman/listinfo/dabo-users Searchable Archives: http://leafe.com/archives/search/dabo-users This message: http://leafe.com/archives/byMID/dabo-users/[EMAIL PROTECTED]
