OK I believe I'm seeing this issue due to my code. The question is what in my
code could be causing this strange display of the calendar? When I write
simple tests the calendar popups correctly. I have an old form that I
thought was working and now that same form shows the calendar behind the
control (on windows). I hope that is some sort of clue to someone. What
this tells me is that "bringToFront()" in dDateTextBox.showCalendar() does
not work. Maybe it is better to say that update() is not respecting the
calendar on windows. Running the form on Linux I only see the month - but at
least it is not behind the dDateTextBox control.

I could of course post my forms but they are getting bigger and require
connections to postgres.

Any suggestion on how to debug this issue would be very helpful.
