I am think so. Unfortunately I ran into problems further down the line with 
wxWidgets 2.6.1pre. I still get seg faults, they just happen after I create a 
class. There seems to be no rhyme or reason. When I get a chance I will try 
to dig deeper to see if there is an underlying cause.
