This morning a new automatic update (this is a nice feature) was available and
was downloaded to the following:

  Platform: Win
Python Version: 2.5.1 on win32
Dabo Version: Version 0.8.2; Revision ~3777
UI Version: 2.8.4.0 on wxMSW

Microsoft windows XP Pro SP 2

Intel Pentium 4 CPU 3.20 GHz

I started reviewing the Dabo demo samples. Most things seemed the same,
however when the game Bubblet was started it opens as it normally does
partially off my viewable desktop and partially on my viewable desktop. The
difference this time was when the Bubblet window is dragged back onto the
middle of my desktop the bubbles that were partially off the viewable part of
my desktop are now much smaller in size and remain that size through out the
game as new bubbles appear they appear as the normal size. Multiple attempts
at ending and restarting a new game cause the bubbles to return to their normal
size.

If within the Bubblet game the file menu is opened and closed with no
selection no affect on bubble size.

If the file menu is opened and Command Window is selected the bubbles that
were hidden under the file menu as well as the command window are now the
smaller bubble size. This odd behavior was no present when the keyboard
shortcut "Ctrl-D" was used. This odd behavior was not found in any of the other
file menu selections or the "Edit/View/Help" selections it seems to be limited
to the file menu and command window selection.

This odd behavior was not found in any of the other Demo Overview Control or
Layout demo samples or in the game Montana.

I recall some talk about font size problems in the past.

  I hope that this helps

  thanks,

  Doug
