I understand there is no standard. However, the dMaskedTextBox defines a phone number as "(###) ### - ####". So, I figured I would standardize on that. Looks like I will create a grid renderer from scratch. Ed and Paul, I think that this would make an excellent contribution. Where would you like me to put this?
