MFC71.dll is the underlying UI used by wxWidgets on windows (Microsoft Foundation Classes (?))
The dll's you need should be free downloads from Microsoft. I think they are present here: http://www.microsoft.com/Downloads/details.aspx?FamilyID=32bc1bee-a3f9-4 c13-9c99-220b62a191ee&displaylang=en But I'm not sure, and don't know if this is the newest package either -----Original Message----- From: [EMAIL PROTECTED] [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] On Behalf Of Pablo Lerner Sent: 4. februar 2008 14:54 To: [email protected] Subject: [dabo-users] Hello Dabo World!! Hello everyone. My name is Pablo Lerner, I'm a software developer from Buenos Aires, Argentina. I have been working with Foxpro for some years, and reading about Python for some months. I'm sorry if my English is not perfect, I don't have much practice (although gmail's orthography checker helps a lot). I downloaded Dabo's package for WinXP, uncompressed and run "python setup.pyinstall". Now when I run "python ClassDesigner.py" I get a popup that says "MFC71.dll" can't be found. Microsoft tells me to install a security update to Visual Studio 2003, which is NOT installed on my computer. Did anyone have this problem? Is the only solution to install an update to a program that is not there? Class Designer worked on Ubuntu, so I know the problem is not in Dabo.
