Is this the Dabo framework itself, or the runtime engine? I ask
because a normal installation doesn't create shortcuts.

Ah, so you are using the runtime engine (daborun.exe). When you
replied to a thread about installing the regular product I got confused.
The VS dialog isn't very informative, since that particular action
doesn't do any Win32-specific things. I'm assuming that you're running
the regular version without debug output, or else you would have
gotten an actual traceback instead of that dialog. Without a traceback
it's impossible to tell where the error is occurring.
Can you try again, this time without changing the field type? Does it
work OK then? If so, the problem is with that particular action.
