He's contributed more to the Python user base than any other single person I can think of. From the software he's developed and shared (PIL, aggdraw, ElementTree, all the Tkinter additions, etc.) to the sharp answers he offers on python-list, to the organized way he shares his information, he is someone to be inspired by. I don't always like how rude he can come off, but you can't fault the quality of the information he shares.
