John, I explicitly asked Mike to send me the code off-list.
I've looked at it thoroughly, and there was nothing unusual about it;
that's why I asked him to run some debug code.

That shouldn't be necessary (also, it's 'self.NonUpdateFields', not
'NonUpdateField']
I'm trying to determine why Dabo isn't handling this properly. I have
several apps that have lookup fields just as this, and these work
without having to specify self.NonUpdateFields. I'm guessing that this
is some conflict with the field being named 'name', but as I don't
have access to his data, I'm working with him to debug this.
