Gentoo. With some ~x86 packages, including python (version 2.5.2-r8). Kernel 
is 2.6.25-gentoo-r8.

Yes, but what? I thought the additional wxGTK version 2.6 installed for 
FlameRobin might be a problem, but that's on both machines.

Nothing out of the way, all of it some years old and nothing obviously 
unstable.

I've got a little more detail:

Starting with revision 4572 I get the "Speicherzugriffsfehler" message 
whenever I try to start a Dabo application with a dGrid in its main window. I 
suppose the "Object Info" window of the ClassDesigner uses a dGrid? Same 
thing in the DaboDemo with the dGrid example. Other applications work as 
expected (or nearly so - the dBitmapButton example behaves abnormal too).

The wxpython demo works.

This looks really weird, doesn't it?
