I just tried this, and did not see any problems. Perhaps you never
left the cell being edited in the prop sheet? Try this: select your
button, go to the prop sheet, and click on the Value column next to
'Caption'. Type in a new caption, and press tab. Does the value stay
in the grid? Does the button's caption change?
