That's exactly what's happening. Only changes from the default are
noted.
Originally I included all the properties, and there was a lot of
objections from others on the dev list that that was wasteful, and
made reading the cdxml file difficult. As a result I've added code to
create reasonable defaults for each control. This is not only useful
when saving the file; it also helps newly-added controls to have a
more reasonable appearance.
The system of defaults was overhauled a couple of weeks ago, and I
just happen to be refining it some more today, as I'm running into
limitations in the design. I should be committing more changes later
on today.
