Perhaps as part of the 'IDE' a dabo version of py2exe could handle these
things - a lot of the things that currently have to be coded within the
'setup' script for a dabo project could be coded within a dabo version of
py2exe (I believe it is open source etc).
Talking about the 'IDE' my thoughts at this early stage of my exposure to
dabo is that it should be based on the Class Designer, and in fact I don't
think that there is a lot of work needed to get something useful together ie
first up when entering the Class Designer set a working (or project)
directory and then set everything (such as connection details relative to
that.
I'm not a good enough python or dabo programmer yet to make a contribution
in this area, but am happy to contribute concepts, ideas and more detailed
specs if appropriate.
