Hmmm... I think it would be cleaner to limit it to one level of
containership. For controls, there is a common Form property that can
act as a mediator, so that's why it's at the form level. There is no
similar mediator pattern; menu items have no reason to use
'self.MenuBar' to reference the MB they are a part of.
But yeah, having an ID that is independent of the displayed caption
is the idea.
