The problem here is I don't understand why unicode is causing any issues. I did however send an email to a friend in Germany and asked him to test for me. It's the weekend so I doubt I'll get answer before Monday. But rest assured I have not forgotten about the issue. I'm not using MsSQL much and I'm not the best person for testing and discovering little (but important) differences between versions or settings.
