I'm still unsure how you installed Dabo. If you are using the downloadable 0.9.1 release, you can switch off web update with the the PrefEditor in the Edit/Preferences menu. Here is how i am doing it using subversion to track all changes: http://dabodev.com/wiki/InstallationOnLinux It you know how to use svn, this might be the best method to track all changes.
