You return a 2-tuple or a 3-tuple of values.

self.Parent is set when you add a bizobj to a relationship as a child
of another. I've never come across a case where the value of a bizobj
depended upon an unrelated bizobj. Can you describe the situation you
have in mind? Perhaps then I might be able to come up with some
suggestions.
