The files and directories aren't exactly the same on each.
On my home system the directory for my app is on a second drive (E:) with
vfat file system (done for easy sharing between windows and linux). On the
work system I have the app in a folder on my desk top with ntfs file system.
Dabo's location on both systems is the same (c:\src)

Nope. The file wasn't open with any other app. I even deleted all temp py
files in the temp directory and deleted the dabo directory under application
data several times thinking maybe the auto created dabo file was keeping old
info.
