Because the application being run is the Class Designer itself, and
the bizobjs are not part of the Class Designer. You can only have one
application at a time in wxPython.
I think that running forms in the Class Designer is good for
previewing appearance, but full interaction requires that they be run
as part of an application. I usually open the Class Designer from one
terminal, and then open another terminal to launch the app I'm working
on; this way, the app has the correct context and references.
