I have forgotten are you hand coding or using ClassDesigner to create the 
dialog?.

To best of my knowledge controlling a dTextBox key events works the same in 
Dialog or a Form.  So show us the code you are using to get the key strokes 
in the dialog.

If this a special case dialog and you find no other way pass the dialog a 
reference to the calling form.  Try something like this:

myDialog = dabo.ui.dDialog(self, .........)
myDialog.CallingForm = self

Now myDialog.CallingForm can be used for whatever you see as required.

or

Any of the other methods of passing data to a dialog.
