The Save option on the menu is what creates the files. Are you sure
that you created them in your UI directory? I've gotten confused
several times when I thought I created them in one place, but had
forgotten that I had started the app from a different location; I
found the files had been created there instead of where I wanted them.

If you attach code to those buttons, the code is saved in in the *-
code.py file. If the button has no code, nothing is added to the code
file.
