I've been tearing my hair out trying to get Dabo apps to work on a new
Windows 7 machine. When I start any Dabo app, an error message pops up with
this arcane message:

python.exe - Entry Point Not Found
?PyWinLong_FromHANDLE@@YAPAU_object@@p...@z could not be located in the
dynamic link library pywintypes25.dll.

The thing is that on my other two XP systems, this error does not occur.
Also, when I run simple python programs or wxPython programs on the Win 7
machine, no problems. Only when I run Dabo apps do I get this problem. The
only difference I could see on the Win 7 machine was that it was running
Python 2.5.4 and the XP's were on 2.5.1, so I installed 2.5.1 but no
difference. I also reinstalled Dabo -- no help. I copied pywintypes25.dll
from an XP to the Win 7, nada. It must be a Win 7 problem or a
configuration - installation issue that I can't see.

Any ideas would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks,

Steve Rose
