I was going to suggest that you try the Dabo editor, but just realized
that while we support the showing of whitespace, we didn't provide a way to
turn it on. I've just added a menu option to toggling whitespace visibility.
I rarely use Windows to do any coding, but when I do, I use the Dabo
editor. In fact, most of the improvements I've made to it have come when I've
been forced to code in a Windows environment and needed it to do something for
me.
