I've been instantiating toolbars with panel parents. This works well,
that the toolbar is rendered from the top right corner of the panel,
effectively allowing my app to have two toolbars (one on the form one
on the panel).

self.toolbar = dui.dToolBar(self.topPanel)

No promisses here, but just try to instantiate the toolbar and the
corresponding grid with the same parent panel.

In my setup Mac hands things well. XP ignores the size and renders the
buttons in the panel toolbars too large, I think I just made the png's
the size I wanted them on windows.
