I got that when I first upgraded to Snow Leopard. The problem was that
there is a base Python 2.5 on my disk, as well as a Python 2.6. When I run
'python' at the command prompt, I get 2.6, but for some reason wxPython (yes,
the 2.6 version) installed into python 2.5.
Make sure that your wx is installed in the right location. Here's what
I get:
[...@homer ~]$ python
Python 2.6.1 (r261:67515, Jul 7 2009, 23:51:51)
[GCC 4.2.1 (Apple Inc. build 5646)] on darwin
Type "help", "copyright", "credits" or "license" for more information.
>>> import wx
>>> wx.__file__
'/usr/local/lib/wxPython-unicode-2.8.10.1/lib/python2.6/site-packages/wx-2.8-mac-unicode/wx/__init__.pyc'
