Sorry for the delay - but your posting just showed up and you posted 8AM 
yesterday (that's what my date shows anyway).  I have no idea why that 
happened.

Welcome to the world of Dabo.  Ask all the questions you need too.  

Dabo is a great match for creating apps similar to Access apps.  I think Dabo 
is actually better than Access.  

Take a view of the screencast and you will get an overall idea of some of the 
things Dabo can do.  But be aware that Dabo is not limited to just what 
available on the screencast.  In fact I'd say if it can be done in Access it 
can be done in Dabo.

Using SQLite does make your Dabo app portable.
