I don't because I really like my dual screens for programming. So although the author used the word desktop I would include laptops. Both run desktop apps. That includes notebooks, netbooks and laptops. But what about an iPad? It does both web apps and desktop. But I don't see anyone using an iPad to do the books. So unless it's docked I wouldn't include it. And of course none of the smartphones are being docked today - so they are out too.
