        Using the svn trunk is considered bleeding-edge: you will occasionally 
get updates that are broken, so if you're able to live with that, you have the 
benefit of the latest changes.

        Web Update releases are only made after the code base is stable, so 
they naturally lag behind the latest change. For most projects they are 
equivalent to minor point releases.

        You have to run the updates manually.

        That's life on the bleeding edge. ;-)

        One other thing: once you go with subversion updates, Web Update can no 
longer update your code; you'd have to delete and re-install to go back to Web 
Update.
