You fellas don't half make it look easy !
After 2 days and one sleepless night
- 15-20 lines of code
- all problems solved.
Seriously it's a problem of understanding concepts and the relationships
between the various components.
Possibly a section/appendix could be added to the PyCon2010 document
covering (with examples)
- cross-references between
- app
- forms (multiple)
- bizobj
- Child-Parent relationships (had plenty of problems with those in the
past <grin>)
Many of these points will be elementary to those used to Python, FoxPro
, other Frameworks etc.
But for those coming from a more procedural background it might be useful.
Also many of the points are covered somewhere in the documentation but
it's difficult to know where.
All in all working on this 'hobby' project the last few weeks have
taught me more about Python and Framework development than all the
reading over many years.
