The cross-platform pdf viewer catches my eye: won't need to launch my reports in the system-default pdf viewer anymore. > Apple is appearing more and more in the business world. All new Macs for the past 5 years or so have been 64-bit. The OS itself has been completely 64-bit for about 2. There is no trouble running 32-bit applications on 64-bit Macs. I think Mac support with 2.9 will be so much better than with 2.8, but the fact is what I have with 2.8 works, and it is painful to keep my three build systems in sync with the same versions of stuff, and all working. Probably Summer of 2011, I'll try an upgrade to wx 2.9.x, and likely python 2.7 at the same time. But only if all the third-party packages I rely on are available on all platforms for those versions as well.
