That note was added in revision 381, which was in August of 2004. I
haven't looked at it since then, so I really don't remember what the issues
were. All I remember is that it worked on OS X, but had display issues on other
platforms, so I shelved the idea.
I'll try to look at it again in the next few days and get back to you.
