Dear friends,
I have unsurmountable difficulties with instructions at
http://wiki.dabodev.com/InstallationOnWindows#DaboAsModule - Installing
Using TortoiseSVN.
I have went through "c:/> mkdir dabodev, > cd dabodev, > svn checkout
~/dabo, > ~/ide, > ~/demo, so that now I have a nice directory
c:/dabodev with folders dabo, ide, demo.
I am trying to follow the "Installing Dabo as a Python module" section.
I am skipping introductory paragraphs, because I do know, where my
dabo.pth file is situated.
This fille contains (utf-8) this simple link: c:/dabodev.
According to former text in the above mentioned page, I have performed
the so-called "unconventional" installation of Dabo, haven´t I?
Apart from the fact, that the seventh line above the "Uninstall" title
seems to me to be a little inconsistent (preceding command can´t result
in "c:/Documents and Settings/joeuser/dabodev/dabomodule/" but in
something like "c:/someFolder/anotherFolder" or "c:/dabodev"),
the mere calling c:/python -c import dabo (or "import dabo"), or
c:/python
 >>> import dabo
doesn´t work.
Any help, please?
Thank you very much.
Tovim (Window XP Pro, 32, Python 2.6)
