Ok I see what you mean. It isn't like Dabo is a running service or DLL with a protocol for communicating with it, which is what a strict definition of API would be. But what I'm talking about does overlap with an API, Application Program Interface. Want a rename? CPEM (Class, Property, Event, Method) reference?
