Me too I first start with the GUI stuff (Synaptic on Ubuntu) but ......:-)

KDE is QT based but wxWidgets is "only" wrapped for GTK+, I would guess 
that Fedora allows you to install that with the packagekit, they might 
just call it a bit different.
