How are you attempting to run Web Update? Are you getting any error
messages when you try to
run it?

Thanks for responding. I am running Web Update manually from DaboDemo,
as follows: (apologies if this is too much info)
From the command prompt, I navigate to the \demo directory, and then
issue the command
python dabodemo.py
which brings up the Dabo Demo. Within the demo, I select Edit,
Preferences from the menu, and then click the Web Update tab. I then
make sure the "Check for framework updates" box is checked, and click
the "Check now..." button.
This presents me with a form saying that updates are available. Three
changes are specified in the changes grid, each with "Change" of M and
"Project" of dabo. The files are: settings.py, ui/uiwx/dDateTextBox.py,
and ui/uiwx/dSizerMixin.py.
I respond to the "Do you want to install them now?" prompt by pressing
the "Yes" button. A "Success!" box pops up, saying "Dabo has been
updated to the current revision. The app will now exit. Please re-run
the application."
No error messages are evident (is there a log file I should be looking at ?)
I press two "OK" buttons to get back to the demo, and then close the demo.
The problem is that if I then follow exactly the same procedure, I get
exactly the same results (i.e. the same updates are still available).
(I was hoping that this would fix the problem in which, when I switch to
the \ide directory and try to run ClassDesigner.py, I get the response
"AttributeError: 'module' object has no attribute 'dPageStyled')
